I believe our government exists to serve its people.
I am running for El Paso County Assessor as a servant leader dedicated to making our office improve its service to our community. My full platform is on this site, but I really have very simple goals.
My single highest priority is to make property values easy to understand. We will increase data accessibility with the fewest barriers. Additionally, we will work to ensure all eligible Seniors and 100% Disabled Veterans receive the property tax exemptions they deserve.
My professional background and community service history have prepared me both for the technical aspects of the job, as well as the people side of working with community leaders through understanding and fairness. I have an Accounting degree from CU Boulder, have made SBA loans for over 30 years and been a member of the El Paso County Planning Commission for over 6 years. I have volunteered in our community for over 25 years in the areas of financial literacy and small business financing. I am running for the same reason I've lived my entire life here, this is home, and I want to do my part to make it better for all of us.
I am the right choice. I ask for your vote and support.
Thank you!
Your votes provided a decisive 20+ point victory for our campaign!
